“Arise. Awake. Having approached the excellent teachers, understand. The wise say the path is difficult, like the sharp edge of a razor.”
Literal rendering by Vedika, checked against the Sanskrit text of Katha Upanishad 1.3.14; not a quoted published translation.
“Arise, awake, and learn from the wise.”
Katha Upanishad 1.3.14
Vedika commentary
Vedika should present this as a seeker’s discipline: awakening begins with sincerity, but matures through guidance, study, reflection, and practice.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
