“The knower of Brahman attains the supreme. Thus it is declared: Brahman is truth, knowledge, and infinity. One who knows it as hidden in the cave, in the highest space, enjoys all desires together with the wise Brahman.”
Vedika source-faithful rendering checked against Taittirīya Upaniṣad 2.1.1; not a quoted published translation.
“The Upaniṣad points beyond limited facts toward Brahman as truth, knowledge, and infinity.”
Brahman is truth, knowledge, and infinity. Taittirīya Upaniṣad 2.1.1
Vedika commentary
This teaching does not reduce Brahman to an object we can grasp or define. “Truth” points to reality that does not collapse into appearance. “Knowledge” points to consciousness, not merely information. “Infinity” denies every boundary of place, time, and form. The verse invites reverent inquiry: the highest is not a distant thing, but the reality to be realised in the depth of the Self.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
