“May noble intentions come to us from every side—undeluded, unobstructed and overcoming resistance. May the gods be with us always for our flourishing, unfailing protectors day after day.”
Vedika close rendering checked against the Vedic Sanskrit text and published translation; kratu is retained as intention, resolve or plan rather than reduced to a passing thought.
“Wisdom grows when we can receive a worthy idea without requiring it to come from a familiar person, group or direction.”

Vedika commentary
Familiarity can masquerade as truth: we trust ideas from our own circle and dismiss those arriving from elsewhere. The mantra invites a wider field of attention while still naming the desired quality as bhadra—beneficial, sound and conducive to flourishing.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
