“Havir said: one who sees the presence of Bhagavān in all beings and all beings within Bhagavān is the highest devotee.”
Vedika literal rendering informed by Vaiṣṇava translations and commentary.
“The Bhāgavata’s highest devotee does not confine Bhagavān to a shrine; perception itself is transformed by seeing beings in relation to Him.”
Śrīmad Bhāgavata Purāṇa 11.2.45
Vedika commentary
Spiritual perception is tested by whether it makes another life easier to disregard. Reverence for Bhagavān should deepen attention to those who bear His relation and presence.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
