“Vedika interpretation: Strength attracts attention. The quality of one's speech reveals the mind behind it.”
Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa, Kiṣkindhā Kāṇḍa 3.28–35
Vedika commentary
How we speak can make knowledge useful to others. Rāma's praise belongs to a specific encounter, not a rule that accent, disability or polished presentation determines a person's worth.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
