sa ya eṣo 'ṇimaitadātmyam idaṃ sarvaṃ tat satyaṃ sa ātmā tat tvam asi śvetaketo ||
“That subtle essence, this whole world has That as its Self. That is the Real. That is the Self. Thou art That, Śvetaketu.”
Vedika source-faithful rendering checked against Chāndogya Upanishad 6.8.7; not a quoted published translation.
“Tat tvam asi turns the seeker inward: the truth being sought is not separate from the deepest Self.”
That Thou Art. Chandogya Upanishad 6.8.7
Vedika commentary
Vedika should frame this with reverence and precision: not ego inflation, but a teaching on the deepest identity revealed through inquiry.
Vedika distinguishes the original Sanskrit, a literal rendering, and an interpretive paraphrase so that the words of the text are never confused with explanation.
